Privacy Promise & Policy
Your words are yours, and no one ever finds out you used us. This is the plainest-English privacy policy we could write: nothing you paste is saved, sold, or used to train any model.
The short version
We use your essay only to score it and (if you ask) to humanise it — then it's gone.
We never sell your work or your data, and we never use your essay to train any model.
Checking your score needs no account and no card. A paid plan needs only an email for billing and receipts.
Anything you give us (like your email) stays yours — ask us to delete it any time and we will.
What we process, and why
Essay text you paste: processed transiently to produce your AI-likelihood score and, if you run a humanise, to return a rewrite. We do not retain the text after your request is served, and we never use it to train models.
On-device usage data: free-tier limits (scans, reports, lite humanisations) are tracked in your browser's local storage so the free tier works. This stays on your device.
Account-adjacent data, only if you subscribe: your email address and subscription status, kept to provide the service, send receipts, and let you manage your plan.
Aggregate, non-identifying analytics may be used to improve the product; these never include your essay text.
Payments are handled by Stripe
Subscriptions are processed by Stripe, our payment processor. Card details are entered on Stripe's secure, PCI-compliant checkout — they never touch our servers, and we never see or store your full card number.
Stripe processes your payment information under its own privacy policy. We retain only what we need to provide your subscription (your email and plan status).
How the detector works
Our score reflects how AI-detection tools are likely to read your writing. Results vary, and no tool can promise a specific Turnitin, GPTZero, or Originality outcome — follow your own institution's academic-integrity policy.
Your rights
You can cancel in one click with no surprise charges, and you can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete any personal data we hold (including rights under the GDPR and CCPA where they apply). Contact us and we'll act promptly.
